This program expands the traditional role of the Bookkeeper and Accounting Assistant.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or age 16 with a high school diploma or GED.
They must take and pass a basic skills Admissions test.
Financial Aid is available for this course of study.
The program provides the following:
- Methods of recording business transactions
- Double-entry accounting principles
- Financial Statements
- Accounting control systems
Studies indicate that this occupation ranks in the top 30 among new jobs being offered in Florida.
